Booking Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings for Villa Wason. Please make sure that you have read them before making a booking with us. Any bookings made or order placed by you, whether through the villa website or otherwise, shall be deemed an offer by you to rent the relevant accommodation subject to these terms and conditions.
Cancellation
In the event that you cancel the booking at any time, no refund is made whatsoever. Travel insurance is therefore strongly recommended.
In the very unlikely event that specific accommodation ceases to be available as booked and we are unable to offer acceptable alternative accommodation we will refund all of the money paid (including the deposit), and shall be under no other liability.
Liability
We shall not be liable for any loss, breach or delay due to any cause beyond our reasonable control including though not limited to an act of God, explosion, flood, tempest, fire or accident, war or threat of war, civil disturbance, acts, restrictions, regulations, bye-laws, or measures of any kind on the part of any governmental or local authority, strikes, lock-outs, or other industrial actions or disputes or adverse weather conditions. In any such case we shall be entitled to treat the contract as discharged.
We will not compensate for the breakdown of mechanical equipment such as pumps, boilers, swimming pool filtration systems etc (although we shall endeavor to repair as soon as possible).
We cannot be held responsible for the failure of public utilities such as water, gas and electricity.
We cannot be held responsible for noise or disturbance originating beyond the boundaries of the holiday accommodation or which is beyond our control such as building work outside of the holiday accommodation.
You’re Responsibilities
Only the number of people and bedrooms booked and paid for may use the villa. In the event that a greater number of people use the villa or more bedrooms are used than agreed, we reserve the right to deduct the appropriate amount as per the tariff from the refundable damage deposit.
The accommodation must be left in a reasonable state of cleanliness and general order. We reserve the right to deduct an appropriate amount for extra cleaning from the refundable damage deposit.
Should any of the equipment, furnishings or linen in the villas be lost or damaged then the cost of repair or replacement will be deducted from the refundable damage deposit.
Smoking is strictly not permitted inside the villa (though is permitted outside on the terraces), and any breach of this house rule will result in retention of the security deposit.
Safety
No responsibility is accepted by the owners of the property for any accident or injury caused in the villa or grounds. We draw particular attention to the use of the swimming pool especially by young children. We recommend not having glass at the poolside.
Behaviour
It is your responsibility to ensure that you and the members of your party do not behave in a way that causes offence or danger to others or which risks damage to property belonging to others. In such circumstances, we have the right to terminate arrangements, in which case our responsibility to you ceases immediately and there can be no refunds, no payment of compensation and no reimbursement of any cost or expense that you may incur as a result. Further, you will be liable to reimburse us for any expenses whatsoever that we incur as a result.
Payment
The booking deposit of £100 per week stay (non-refundable) will be required to secure your dates. The remaining balance of the rental is payable no less than 8 weeks of the start of the rental period.
The refundable damage deposit of £100 is required to cover those events laid out in these terms and conditions and, where none of those events apply, will be refunded aprrox.1 week after departure.
We reserve the right to regard the booking as cancelled if both or either of the balance and/or damage deposits remain unpaid after the due date, and shall be entitled to retain any deposit paid.
We have the right to charge you for any damage exceeding the damage deposit and require full payment within 7–10 days of receipt of invoice.
For bookings made less than 6 weeks prior to the arrival date, immediate payment of the full rental cost and the refundable damage deposit is required. Payment can be made by cheque or by bank transfer to our bank account.
Arrivals and Departures
You may arrive at the property no earlier than 4pm on the day your rental period begins. The property must be vacated by 11.30am on the day of departure. We reserve the right to levee an additional charge for late departure.
Sub Letting
The villa cannot be sub let to any other persons than those on the original booking agreement.
