It was an important trade and religious centre. During the Roman period its
population reached Approx. 250,000.
Famous Library of Celcius, the Roman Baths, The Amphitheater and unforgettable antiquity to be seen.
Waters in the terraces are the sediments of the springs with calcium bicarbonate in 33C. Waters, containing mainly calcium salts and carbon-dioxide, run off the plateau's by depositing calcium while carbon-dioxide disappearing. The marvellous landscape of Pamukkale has been created by this gradual formation, leaving a cotton-like image. Known as the "Sacred Pool" of ancient times, where you can swim amidst the historical remains of Hierapolis the water of Pamukkale is famous for its benefits to the eyes and skin; The remains of the ancient Hierapolis are situated on back of the thrilling white terraces, standing wondrously in the area. The fairyland Pamukkale is a must-see travelling through this region, during a holiday in Turkey.
TURKISH BATH
  
Don't miss out on a scrub and massage it's an experience
alone, also oil massage is available let all your stress be released from your
body. In the middle of the Turkish bath is a big stone, you stretch yourself on
it, relax and sweat, then after a while you will have a body peeling which they
use a special hand glove followed by a massage.
OLUDENIZ BOAT TRIP
  
Very relaxing day out. Cruise the bays of Ölüdeniz and top up
your tan along the way. Swim in the blue cave and then go ashore at
Butterfly
Valley
and if you are feeling energetic,
climb up to the waterfall and you might glimpse a rare tiger Butterfly. After
lunch on the boat, climb amongst ruins to the top pf St. Nicholas
Island
for spectacular views. Then enjoy a refreshing
swim at cold spring bay where a fresh water spring flows into the sea.
DALYAN
  
One of
Turkey
most popular places to
visit, take a tour bus to Dalyan on an
air-conditioned coach or if you are driving it is only a 20 minute drive from Dalaman. When you arrive at Dalyan you will board the boat and cruise along the river passing the ancient city of
Caunos
.
Photographs are a must as you pass the wonderful Lycian Rock Tombs. You will arrive at the
famous Mud Bath where (if you believe in the fable) you will come out looking
10 years younger (seriously this is great our skin was left feeling very
smooth). Dalyan has the second largest beach in
Turkey, you can relax and achieve a golden tan while playing in the
Mediterranean waters. If you are lucky
you may see some Caretta (the loggerhead turtles) who
still breed here. This is truly a
wonderful memorable experience and not to be missed.

TLOS ANCIENT CITY & SAKLIKENT GORGE
  
The Tlos ancient site is hidden behind an Ottoman castle and the ancient Acropolis on the top of the hill. While climbing up to the castle the Lycian rock tombs will grab your attention. The most impresive is the tomb of Bellerephon, with a fine basrelief of Pegasos the winged horse fighting against the three-headed monster Chimera. Take the chance to see a whole ancient site dating back thousands of years.
